Went to Nail Xpert yesterday with my Mom to get manicure and pedicure... Great Eastern having Mothers' Day promotion... 1 for 1 Moisture Treatment Manicure with Basic Pedicure at $80 plus 2 complimentary nail art for each... Upgraded to Spa Pedicure with an additional $20...

The place was really cozy, spacious and grand... And you get to order drinks from their menu... And you get a hot bubbling foot soak... They have got a variety of OPI colours to choose from... Their service is quite good... And their nail art are nice...

The only thing is their services are on the expensive side... 1 nail art price starts from $4 (this means 1 fingernail)... But I guess we pay for the atmosphere and environment too... No one wants to be squeezed into a small room when doing manicure/pedicure... Another bad point is the place is hard to find... It's situated on Purvis Street, which is somewhere between City Hall and Bugis... Took a long time to find the place... I got lost sia... :P

Think overall still quite worth it to sign the package coz for 1st timers, the red wine spa pedicure is at $238 for 6 times and the red wine spa manicure is $203 for 6 times... But subsequently, I got to consider first as the packages will cost more...

I haven't been updating my blog for a very long time... Sorry... Today I'm updating my blog with the news of the death of my beloved father... He passed away on the 21st of January... He was walking in Shop and Save Sunshine Place on the morning of 19th January, waiting for his colleague to come pick him up for work when he suddenly collapse and hit his head on the floor... He was unconscious by the time he reached the A&E department of NUH and when we arrived, the doctors told us he was in critical condition and a surgery was neccessary to try to preserve his life... He did not wake up at all after the surgery... We could only watch as his condition worsen and he breathe his last in ICU on the 21st...

Went to watch Death Note with my mom at Plaza Singapura on Saturday afternoon... The movie is based on a popular Japanese manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata... Light Yagami is an aspiring prosecutor who had lost faith in the legal system after hacking into the Japanese police database and discovering that criminals are being left unpunished... Just at this moment, a bored Shinigami, Ryuk, dropped his Death Note into the human world... Light chanced upon the note and after initial skeptism and experimentation, decides to use the note to create a perfect world without any crime...

As the death rates of criminals increases, the Japanese police called in the help of the mysterious but world famous detective L in hopes of solving the case... Despite his disheveled appearance, odd sitting manner and obsession with sweet food, L soon proves to be the greatest nemesis of Light and the battle of wits soon begins...

This movie is quite enjoyable and you'll enjoy the battle between L and Light... Ryuk's animation is great but not over-the-top and he also has some funny moments... The movie does have some slow moving parts but in it is still intriguing... Take note that the movie ends with half the story told and the second part will be coming to cinemas this December... Remember to stay tune to the trailer of the second movie as it will be shown right after the credits of Death Note... Overall I'll give the movie an 8 out of 10...

Went to watch The Prestige with my mom at The Cathay on Sunday morning... The movie is about 2 young magicians on the rise, Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) and Robert Angier (Hugh Jackman)... They were competitors and each tried their best to outwit and destroy the other... Their rivalry took both of them to the peak of their careers but both paid dearly for it...

The acting is superb and the movie is filled with twists and turns that will captivate you till the end of the story... You'll not know what to expect until the end... Christian Bale, one of my favorite actors, delivers a stunning performance as Alfred, the man who seemingly had some mental issues and loved magic with his life... The dedication Alfred has for his career and the sacrifices he makes are admirable... Hugh Jackman also gives a powerful performance as Robert, the man who is obssessed with destroying and outdoing Alfred... His quest in doing so costs him massive amount of money and unimaginable sacrifices... Michael Caine, as a great actor, helps in mystifying the audience without much effort...

All in all, the movie is wonderful and mesmerising... I'll definitely recommend everyone to watch it... Personally I'll give it a score of 9 out of 10... There is only 1 thing to be careful and that is the movie's non-linear narrative... So do not expect the movie to be told from beginning to end... Instead, let the movie take you to different places in the timeline and let the pieces of the story fall in place naturally...

Bought my Hugo Boss in Motion Black Edition for my brother last Sunday as I promised him I'll buy him something if he get good grades for this semester's Poly exams... He scored a GPA of 3.487 out of 4 and asked for the perfume... It cost $102... I feel the pain of my money parting with me... But my brother is still more important... Haha... I also made it clear that he has to score higher for next semester... If not he wouldn't be getting anything from me... Haha...

Today I'm going to post 2 of 183 Club's MTV 迷魂计 and 真爱... These 2 songs are the beginning and ending songs in 王子变青蛙 (The Prince Who Turns Into A Frog)... This drama serial is the highest rated idol drama in Taiwan, beating Meteor Garden... If you remember, it was shown on Channel U before... A very nice fairy tale serial... Mindow and Sam was so charming in the serial... I was rooting for Sam's character, 子骞, all the while...

Recently I'm totally crazy about 183 Club... A pop group from Taiwan, if you don't already know... I went to buy their album and also went on to Youtube to watch their MTVs... I'm practically drooling over them... Haha... So today I'm going to write about them...

183 Club consists of 5 members... Johnny Yan, Sam Wang, Jacky Chu, Ehlo Huang and Matthew Lin(Mindow as written on their album)...

Johnny Yan (顏行書 or 颜行书) is the leader of the group, he's the oldest of the group and he's actually the only person in the group that's 183 cm... I was acutally not very interested in Johnny before 183 Club came into existence... His first serial, My MVP Valentine (MVP 情人) was shown in Singapore but I didn't watch it as I'm not into 5566 (another taiwanese pop group) then... I was more into F4 (yet another taiwanese pop group) at that time... But since 183 Club, I noticed that Johnny is acutally very cute and handsome... And really cares for his team... From his interviews when in 183, he's always emphasising on themselves as a team... He's a very good leader... Johnny was once a national basketball player in taiwan and was even captain... He has the nicknames 篮球精灵.闪灵后卫...

Sam Wang (王紹偉 or 王绍伟) is the co leader of the group... He's the second oldest of the group... His height is 180cm... He's also in 5566... The only artiste that is still in the emtertainment industry that's in 2 group at the same time... I like Sam a lot actually... He's so HOT... Haha... I like watching his drama serials and his variety programmes... Currently I'm watching his serial with Mindow, The Magicians of Love (愛情魔髮師 or 爱情魔发师)... I like to hear him sing also cause I think he has a very unique voice... But honestly, his singing skills need a little improvement... He has the nicknames 少爺、失智老人、地球最強的男人、蝙蝠俠、嬌滴滴、健忘虎、浮板隱形師、數學小飛俠、月光女仙子、水的控制師、足球小神童、泳池裡的華麗猜拳師... (There are more to the long list...) I find from his interviews that they way he speaks is somewhat like me... At times he tends to get excited after speaking a while and raises his voice... If you know me well you'll know that I do the same... Haha... He's very good at crying as he can produce tears within seconds...

Jacky Chu (祝釩剛 or 祝钒刚) is the lead singer of the group... He's the tallest of the group standing at 184cm... He's a great singer... Before joining 183, he worked as a professional model and released 1 chinese album, 告解... I acutally noticed him back then... Cause I like the song 告解 in that album... His older brother is James Chu of the group VJ... He speaks quite good english as he was raised in Vancouver... If you look carefully, you'll notice that Jacky's eyelashes are very very long... I think they are even longer than the fake eyelashes girls wear...

Ehlo Huang (黃玉榮 or 黄玉荣) is the co lead singer of the group... He's the shortest of the group standing at 176 or 177 cm (based on different sources)... He's another great singer and I like him a lot too... He's just mesmerising for some reason... And I like his acting too... He's good at hitting high notes when singing... He has worked as a model before and released 1 song, 東海小王子, prior to being in 183... He came in 3rd in the 3rd MAN'S UNO modelling contest... (Can someone tell me how to pronounce his English name?? Thanks...)

Matthew Lin (明道) or Mingdao or Mindow is the youngest of the group and stands at a height of 180cm... He prefers pple to call him 明道... His real name is 林朝章... He's actually my Mom's favorite... She has watched him hosting the travel programme 冒險王(冒险王) and thinks he's very friendly and manly... Mindow has won 金钟奖 - 最佳文教资讯节目主持人 for 冒险王... He's involved in the most acting and is famous as 單均昊/茼蒿(Ethan) in the drama serial the Prince Turned Frog (王子變青蛙 or 王子变青蛙)... He's a big fan of motorcycles... From his interviews, I too find him really friendly...

Read on MSN a few day ago about the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son, Daniel Wayne Smith... It's a tragedy... Anna just gave birth to a healthy baby girl at the hospital on Thursday, 7th September... Daniel visited her on Saturday 9th September and stayed overnight... On Sunday, she found him dead... Right in her hospital room...

Rightfully, Anna was supposed to be celebrating the arrival of a new life and basking in happiness of having a daughter... But instead, she had to experience the loss of her son, the child she had loved and raised and cared for for 20 years... My heart goes out to her... And may Daniel rest in peace...

Finally I have time to update my blog... Haha... Too caught up at work and going out... Work has been stressed for me... Got deadline to meet but just can't get the codes to work... To add on to the problem, the computer and the database is also not cooperating with me... Haiz... Hope I can make it through this 3 months and they will want to extend my contract despite my poor performance... :o(

He's coming to work in Singapore Technologies at the end of this month... This means we'll be colleagues again soon... So happy... Can get to see him during lunch time sometimes... Heehee... My motivation to work harder... :oP

Time passes so fast and I've been going out with him for 9 weeks already... He's gentle, forgiving and patient with me... Recently he's encouraging me to exercise coz I have not exercised for 4 and a half years... Good idea that I now have someone to exercise with me... Haha... ;oP

Went to Macritchie Reservoir with him in the late afternoon yesterday... Can't run coz of my long period of inactivity... But we walked around 4 to 5 Km... Longest distance I have walked in a very long time... Haha... He's very patient to have walked with me when he could have done some running instead... Very grateful for that... Haven't been so close to nature in a very long time too... Took a few photos of baby monkeys and turtle... ;oP

Just received news that he's sick a while ago... He's resting in bed now... Poor guy... Having stomach pain... How I wish I could be there to take care of him now... But I'm so far away from him... Haiz... Pray that he will get well tomorrow... :o(

Last Friday I was stuck in the office stoning... They told me I might need to be on stand-by to do something but in the end I waited till 11pm and there is still no work for me to do... Although I have OT pay but it was really boring... He was really sweet to have kept me company till 8.30pm plus... Then he sms me all the way to keep my occupied... Really touched... ;o)
I have found another job... 3 months contract as a .NET engineer at ST Electronics... I'll be leaving Accenture on Friday and starting on work on my new job next Monday... Will miss my frens and some colleagues over there... Especially Daniel and him... Sad... Won't get to see him so much liao... :o(

Went to see Corpse Bride with him on Sat... The movie is quite short but it was really touching... It shows you what love is about... Johnny Depp was really great as the voice of Victor Van Dort... I'll recommend the animation if you like romance... ;o)

I have been going out with him for quite some time... He's always very considerate and sweet and he really knows how to make me laugh... I really enjoy being with him... After he's been in my life, everyday has been filled with sweetness... (Am I getting too fluffy??) I really hope this sweetness will last... ;oP

Yeah!~! He's back from Korea last Thursday night... I missed him... Haha... Glad that he's back... He bought 2 handkerchiefs (I guess they are) from Korea back for me... Both show the DMZ of North and South Korea... I like them very much... But I dunno what to do with them... ;oP

Went to his cell group with him on Friday... It was the birthday of one of the group members, Felicia, and there was a celebration held... It was a really heartwarming celebration... Haven't been to a celebration like this before... The feeling was really good... ;o)

My handphone died on Saturday... Dunno why suddenly I'm unable to charge it... Tested with my brother's handphone charger with no reaction too... So i guess it's a hardware failure... Brought it to Sony Ericsson service centre at Wisma Atria for servicing... After waiting for a long long time, I finally got my chance to complain... Haha... In the end, there is a need to change the hardware for the charging problem, and also upgrade software for the problem of people complaining that they are redirected to my voice mail even though my handphone is on... I can only get my handphone back on Wednesday... And worse still, all my data on my handphone will be erased... (T_T)

Went to church service on Sun morning then had lunch with him at Han's... The food portion there is really shrinking in size... But I still have to pay the same price... Sian... After lunch, we went to Esplande library as he need to pick up some books... There's some DVD sets that I like at the library but I can't borrow... Coz I dun have the premium membership... It costs around $20 per year... I dun feel like paying leh... Hahaha... On our way to MRT from the library, he treated me cookies from Famous Amos... Tasty... ;oP

Went out with him again on Saturday night... 4th week in a row... Haha... We met at Jurong East MRT station... We went to Jurong East Community Library... Haven't been there for a very long time and the library sure looks much nicer now... Haha... He borrowed a book on Bridge and I borrowed a book on Pool and Billiards... Then he had his dinner and we sat at MacDonald's and chatted till around 10.50pm before heading home... I find he sometimes blushes... Think it's because of his fair skin... ;oP

Went to his church's church service this morning and had lunch with him and his frens before going to work... Yes... You are reading perfectly fine... I AM WORKING TODAY... I'm working on a Sunday because the company have a major internal testing going on today and I have to be around just in case the internal environment goes down... Lucky the pay for today will be 2 times my normal pay... I thought I will have an easy time just sitting there waiting for the time to go home... But the computers at Accenture GMTI just can't wait to give me trouble... The moment the I stepped into office, the internet connection died and I had to fix it... To make matters worst, some of the computers also started to lose connectivity to the internal environment... No matter what I tried I just can't get these 2 things to work... I called Daniel but his instructions just doesn't seems to work... In the end he came back from MOE to GMTI and he solved everything in 15 minutes... He just started the internet server's DNS service and unplugged all the wires and plug them back in... And everything starts to work well again... Why does the computers and servers like Daniel better?? (T_T)

He's going to Korea with his Dad on business from tonight and will only return on Thursday night... This means I won't see him for 4 days... Sad... Luckily can still contact him through occasional SMS... Can't wait for Thursday to come... ;oP

Last Friday was the day Accenture 10 promotees are treating the whole of Accenture GMTI to Fish and Co., and also the last day of Keny at Accenture... Will miss Keny when he's gone... No one to share food with me liao... Haha... ;oP

During lunch, we ordered quite alot of food... More of like a buffet at Fish and Co. glass house... Haha... Daniel's more or less sweating coz he's one of the promotees... Heehee... The food took a very long time to arrive, and by the time they arrive, we are really starving... I ate quite a lot of food... Shared 2 portions of seafood platter for 2 with Keny and William and on top of that, shared 1 portion of oysters with Keny too... I'm a big eater... Heehee... Our lunch hour started at 12 noon and only ended at 3pm... Haha... What a long lunch... ;oP

Saturday was a busy day... Left my house at 11-plus am to collect my pay... Then shopped at Bugis Junction and OG Bugis with my mom till 7-plus pm for clothings... Then met him at nearly 8pm at City Hall... Had dinner with him walked around, play pool and chat... I lost to him on pool table even though he dislikes playing pool... Haiz... The pool table at Marina Square is really too low to aim properly leh... (Blaming the table for my lack of skill...) Haha... Reached home at around 12.40am... ;o)

Went to Church service with him in the morning and had lunch at the church... Then I went home for a nap but didn't get any sleep at all coz my bro blasted the computer's speaker... Met him in the evening again to learn something from him... Heehee... My learning process is really slow, but luckily he's quite patient... We had dinner together and I reached home before 10.30pm...

As most of you, if not all of you know, I chat on MSN with my friends and there is one particular friend of mine that really is difficult to talk to... Coz it's either not him using the MSN, or he's playing computer games... And on one fine day, he actually replies my message... WOW!~! That is really rare... Who is this guy, he's no other than Long Chiu... He's the guy that's only around when I really need him... And most of the time, it in a bad way... Lucky this time I'm not feeling down or anything... But still, strange leh.. Haha... But overall it's good to know he hasn't disappeared, and that he's ok... Just with hair that's too short... ;oP

I have been talking on phone with the guy of my interests these few days... Talked on phone with him for 2 days this week and each time it's around 2 hours... Haha... Quite long but I just enjoy talking to him... Haha... Maybe because I'm interested in him?? Heehee... He also played the guitar over the phone and I think it's quite nice leh... Quite romantic too... Hahaha... ;oP

Went to Com Ex with him on Saturday night... Can see he don't really like the crowd too much... But at least he's willing to go with me... Really happy about that... We walked around waiting for me to decide on whether to buy extra memory for my handphone... And in the meantime I also recommended handphones to him... Then he had his dinner and we walked around Tower Records for a while before heading home... The duration of the date is not long but really enjoyable... ;o)

By the way, I bought a new 512 MB Sandisk memory stick pro duo for my handphone... It has 5 years warranty... Now I'm even more broke... Haha... But at least I can store more memory on my handphone... Hahaha... ;oP

Yesterday was quite a busy day... Went to OCBC bank at Choa Chu Kang with my mom early in the morning... Then went to collect my pay at Tanjong Pager and deposit it into my bank account... After that, I went back to Choa Chu Kang to meet up with Kaixin for sushi buffet at Suki Sushi... Haven't seen her since June's birthday party... (Sorry to say this Kaixin) When the lift door opens and you came out, I was quite shocked leh... Coz it has been quite some time since I saw her with her specs on and without makeup... ;oP

We had an enjoyable meal and a nice long chat... She ended up eating more than me... Partly because my appetite had gone into hiding that day, and partly also because I was meeting the guy of my interest later... Overall it was good to know that she's enjoying her life and that she has found a guy she is interested in, and at time same time, seemed to be quite interested and gentle to her... It has been a super long time since she's been involved in a relationship... (The last time was around Sec 2 or 3 I think...) Jia you Kaixin... Hope you'll get the guy... (Kaixin... Sorry for acting like I'm half-dead... Coz I was really tired...) ;oP

After saying goodbye to Kaixin, I went home and had an hr of rest... After recharging myself, I'm out of the house again on my way to Orchard... First I sent my brother's mobile phone to Sony Ericsson's service center at Wisma Atria, but in the end I decided not to have the phone serviced coz I would rather spend the money on a new phone for my bro... After this, I made my way down to Plaza Singapura to meet up with that guy... ;o)

We met up at around 7pm and were going to watch The Wedding Crashers at 9.45pm... In between we had dinner, walked around, chat, and went to the arcade for a short while... It was great chatting with him cause as always he's got something to share... I found I'm really out of touch with arcade games... I tried to play one game that I had played before, and I found that the keyboard layout have changed... Haiz... He on the other hand was quite impressive leh... Haha... ;o)

The movie was really hilarious and I was laughing most of the time... I would definitely recommend it... It only ended at around 11.45pm and by that time, there was no more train to both our stops so we had no choice but to share a cab home... He reached home first before me and by the time I reached home, it was around 12.45am.. Haha... Although I was tired, I really enjoyed myself a lot... It's good going out with him... Hope there are more chances in the future... ;oP

Work is so stressful nowadays... Haiz... Under lots of stress... How I wish I can be back to the days in school where there is less stress and more control of my time... And also no one to boss me around... Haha... But I guess no one can turn back time... And the bad news is Daniel won't be around from next Wed to Thurs... ARGH!~! That means I would be in hell for that 3 days!~! NOOooo!~! Now I really dread going to work... :o(

Peixuan and Vanessa is leaving at the end of this month... So sad... I'll have 2 companion less in the company... Will definitely miss them... I really had lots of fun with them... Joking with Vanessa and 'suaning' Peixuan... ;oP

I find I'm becoming more and more interested in the guy at work... He's one really unique person... I enjoys his company and chatting with him... I especially enjoys listening to him coz he really has a lot of unique things and ideas to share... Really hope that I can get to enjoy more of his company in the future... ;o)

I feel great gratitude for my mentor at work... And that is Daniel... He's a funny guy with a big heart and hates veggies... Heehee... He taught me ALOT of things that I never learnt at school and he's been looking out for me at work... I really owe him alot... He's like a big brother to me... Although he doesn't visit blogs, I still want to thank him for everything he has taught me... THANKS DANIEL!~! ;o)

Now comes the part that most of my gal-pals are interested in... Heehee... I met a guy at work that caught my attention... He's an interesting guy with interests that really differ from other guys... Haha... Why am I always interested in guys that are different?? Maybe because I'm strange too... Another reason why he caught my attention is that I think he looks good... Some people don't think he does, but I think so... And I think only my opionion matters rite?? Haha... As most of you know, besides finding a permanant job, my birthday resolution is to get a guy... I am now officially 21 years old... Old liao... Hahaha... My resolution for this year, to find a guy... Haha... Seriously, coz I'm not exactly the career woman type, so there is nothing much for me to pursue... But then, as if finding a good guy is so easy... :oP

I got my Sony Ericsson Z800i for my birthday!~! I'm so happy!~! My parents paid for half while I paid for the other half... Will update my blog with photos of my new handphone soon... Heehee... ;o)

Yesterday went to Orchard to celebrate my birthday with June, Kaixin and Yuying... We watched the movie, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... It was really funny, and Marvin, the robot, was so cute, although a little too depressed... After the movie, we went to Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao restaurant to have dinner and I really liked the food there, they were really good... Especially the La Mian and Xiao Long Bao, obviously... Guess I'm all about food... Hahaha... after the celebration, I took the MRT home together with Kaixin and on the train, she took noticed of a guy in yellow T-shirt... She almost can't take her eyes off him... Ok, maybe not to that extend, but she did took more than a few glances... Haha... Guess what, he lived in the same area as me... Coz we alighted at the same stop... ;oP

Someone told me, now that I am 21, I can watch the movies rated R21... But the pity is, there isn't any R21 movies that I am interested in recently... I am more interested to watch Mr and Mrs Smith, and more importantly, Batman Begins... Haha... Especially Batman Begins... I'll definitely watch it at the cinema... ;o)

I just finished reading a chinese online novel last week and I really liked it... It is a story that was published online quite a long time ago by an anonymous author... There's a lot of passion in it and has a sad feeling to the whole story... It's a story that shows that when love is strong enough, obstacles does not matter... It is quite a romantic story too, provided that you are open-minded enough... Due to some reasons, I cannot provide links to the websites that have the story... But I can tell u the title of the novel... The title is 北京故事 or Beijing Story... You can go www.google.com to search for the novel... But before you read the story, I must warn you of the really "descriptive" nature, and it is a story about love between 2 men... Yes... 2 men... I'm not trying to promote anything... I'm just saying it's a really nice story... For people cannot accept it, just don't read it... Haha... But I'll still recommend the story... ;o)

Here I want to say a big THANKS to Peiyi and Jiayun... They shared cost with me to buy the 天龙八部 (Tian Long Ba Bu) DVD as my birthday present... I am so touched!~! Really thank you both!~! So Peiyi... 2) Tian Long Ba Bu VCD or DVD - The latest version starring Hu Jun, Jimmy Lin, Gao Hu, Liu Yi Fei, etc... The one filmed in China one hor... Don't get me any other versions hor... And personally, I would prefer a region 3 DVD set... But I can also make do with the VCD set... Heehee... ;oP

3) A multi-region DVD player - As my DVD player can only play region 3 DVD, I hope to have a multi-region DVD player soon... Let's hope someone do get me one... Hahahaha... ;oP

I first saw Christian Bale in A Midsummer Night's Dream(movie version)... He played Demetrius in it... And I got only one word to describe him: Gorgeous... Haha... Really... He looked handsome in the movie and towards the end of the movie, there is a scene where he was without clothes... And that made me drool... Really... If you really get to see the show on TV, you will get what I mean... (Why is he without clothes?? Those who know the Shakespeare's story will know why... And those who dunno, please go borrow or rent the movie to watch, or read the play...) ;oP

In the film American Psycho, he plays Patrick Bateman... I like the executive look he has in the show...(I also liked the fact that he was a psychopath... Am I sadist or what??) The show is a bit gory, but overall, it was not bad... He acted finely and looked great... Haha... ;oP

In Reign of Fire, I almost didn't recognize him because of the beard... Haha... It was a nice show about the battle of humans and dragons, with some humans hunting dragons with GPS... ;oP

In Equilibrium, he was John Preston, a top-ranking Grammaton Cleric (government agent) in a world where books, art and music are strictly forbidden and feelings and emotions are crimes punishable by death... But when he misses a dose of Prozium, a mind-altering drug that hinders emotion, Preston, who has been trained to enforce the strict laws, suddenly becomes the only person capable of overthrowing it... Christain dresses a bit like Neo in the Matrix Trilogy, but I liked the fight sequence... And he sure looks cool in the show... Heehee... ;o)

Alan Rickman... This man is oozing charisma all over... Haha... Sometimes for me, a guy can be attractive because he has charisma... And Alan Rickman is that kind of guy... For those people who have no idea who I am talking about, Alan Rickman is the guy that played Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movie series... Someof my friends are actually shocked or surprised that I actually like Alan... The reasons being he is old and Severus Snape is not attractive at all... ;o)

To justify, he is not that old... He is younger that Sean Connery (A lot of women are fans of Sean)... I never did say Severus Snape is attractive... I mean Alan Rickman HAS charisma, NOT Severus Snape has charisma... A lot of my friends have not seen much of his other movies so they can't really pass judgement... I have personally seen 1 play, 1 MTV and 9 movies that he has been in, so I know he has charisma... A guy don't have to be young to be charismatic and that is no age limit to a person being your idol right?? And he has got a great voice... ;o)

I admit that in Harry Potter series, the character Snape is not very likeable... But not all teachers are likeable... You have to have a not so popular teacher to make the other teachers seem nice right?? Haha... The author of Harry Potter series, JK Rowling, is a fan of Alan too... Heehee... And even though I might not like the character Snape, a lot of women actually like Snape and there are webpages dedicated to Snape... ;oP

Some of my Secondary 3 classmates may not know, but we have actually all seen him act when we are in Sec 3... (Dogma is really funny and sure have a lot of eye candies in it... Heehee...) ;oP

He's Phil Allen the hair stylist in Blow Dry and I really like the look he has on his face when he succeeded in thwarting the efforts of his cheating rival in the competition... The thing I don't get about this show is why did they cast Josh Hartnett as Phil's son, Brian... Not that I have anything against Josh, he's cute, but I don't think Josh and Alan looked like father and son at all... Not even behaviour wise... ;oP

(This does not apply for Angel coz when Angel turned into Angelus, he made it a point to make Buffy suffer as much as possible...) David Boreanaz is the second guy that had me smitten... For those who do not know who he is, he is Angel/Angelus/Liam in Buffy the Vampire Slayer series(BtVS) and Angel series(AtS)... I forgot it's Secondary 1 or 2 that I started watching BtVS and he was the devoted, handsome and gentle vampire-with-a-soul who had a romantic relationship with Buffy... After 3 seasons in BtVS, he finally received his own spin-off show, AtS... ;o)

In AtS, Angel moved to Los Angeles (letting go of his relationship with Buffy) and started fighting evil with the help of Cordelia Chase, whom he later fell in love with(Strange but true)... Wesley joined the gang in I think the second season... In season 3 and 4, Angel's son with Darla (2 vampires having a child... Weird...) came into the picture and this teenager also fell in love with Cordelia and even went on to having an affair with her (Angel is crushed by this of course)... Spike joined in too in the 5th,also final, season (It becomes 2 vampires with souls, haha)... ;oP

Both BtVS and AtS got more and more impossible as time goes by, but I'm stll a big fan of both series, coz of Angel, Spike and Wesley (and maybe Connor)... Haha... David Boreanaz as Angel is so romantic and also funny too in the later season, and as Angelus(basically Angel without soul), he is evil... As the Chinese saying goes, girls like bad boys... Haha... Ok... Correction to the part of my last entry on best friends... I had forgotten about 1 person that had been very helpful to me too... And that is Jasmine... Sorry Jas... I hope you are not angry at me for forgetting to list you out... I'm always this forgetful... Sorry... You are also one of my best friend... ;oP

So here's the part where I introduce Jasmine... Haha...Jasmine was my classmate for 2 years in Poly... For our third year, we were separated... While I was doing FYP, she's doing ITP, and vice versa... But for the 2 years we've been classmate, I've enjoyed her company... She a great person to be with and we share the same interest... She's also a friend that can keep a secret... She's really a fast eater and whenever I eat lunch or dinner with her, I feel stressed... So is really super fast... What is even more amazing is, she can eat so fast and still chat with me at the same time... Wow!~! Thanks Jas for being my best friend and keeping me company for the whole of my 2nd year in Poly... I really hope we can be best friends forever... Heehee... ;o)

The problem I have been talking about is still not solved yet... But I hope it will be soon... I'm not going to just sit around waiting for the solution to be here... Wow... I found out that I got one visitor from Venezuela yesterday... Woo... It feels so good to know that there are people from different countries visiting my blog... Heehee... Thanks people!~! (Am I over excited??) ;o)

I see that Dream Dancer was from BPGHS... For those of you who don't know what it means, it is actually the initials of our secondary school. Bukit Panjang Government High School... We both know Peiyi... Haha... Peiyi was my classmate in BPGHS for 4 years and one of my best friends... (I only have 5 or 6 best friends from my 20 years on Earth... Pathetic right?? Haha...) Kaixin, aka Mandy, was also from BPGHS and the 3 of us were classmates for 4 years (Kaixin's also one of my best friends)... ;o)

Dream Dancer, your Japanese is quite good... I just completed my Japanese Language Course in Singapore Poly (I more thing Dream Dancer and me have in common is Japanese)... Recently my JLPT 4 result is back and I failed... Haiz... Full marks is 400, passing mark is 240, and I scored 225... Fall short of the passing mark by 15 points... Haiz... Sad... :o(

Just now I was talking about best friends... My best friends are Peiyi, Jiayun, Kaixin, June, Yuying and Lip Hong... Peiyi, Jiayun, Kaixin, June, Yuying are my friends since 1997 (wow... we are friends for around 8 years...) and we are all from BPGHS... We were in the same class for Sec 1 and 2 (class 104/204) for Sec 3 and 4, we were in different class... Peiyi, Kaixin and I were in class 304/404, June was in class 302/402, Jiayun was in class 303/403, and Yuying was in class 306/406... Then the 5 of them all successfully completed Junior College (I was the only JC drop-out and Poly student among us) education and are now in different Universities... Peiyi, Kaixin, June and Yuying are all in NUS (National University of Singapore) now, while Jiayun is in SIM (Singapore Institute of Management?)... Now a lot of you might be wondering who Lip Hong is... He's a classmate of mine in my 3rd year of Poly and have helped me a lot in many ways... He did the whole of our WEBS (Web Services module) project coz I was too busy with my Final Year Project, and also because I don't like WEBS... Heehee... Thanks Lip Hong, for all the help you gave me... ;o)

A few days ago, I was talking to Long Chiu on the phone for the first time... Haha... This is weird coz we've known each other for 4 years... I was talking to him on a problem I am encountering and he is giving me advice... Why did I call him instead of calling my best friends?? (Peiyi, Jiayun, Kaixin, June, Yuying please don't be angry... I'll fill you in with the details of the problem soon...) That's because he's my hero... Haha... Sounds funny right?? But he really is my hero... I told him that after finishing discussing my problem with him... I also told him about my previous crush on him and that he will always remain a hero in my heart... He's actually quite amused that carrying a gal's bag around can render him a hero in another gal's heart... Haha... Actually he already felt that I had a crush on him last time in JC and it was further confirmed by his friend who read my testimonial for him in Friendster... The thing he don't know is that I actually remembered so much thing about him... Haha... It is so strange... He rarely contact me but he is there for me everytime I needed his help... The first time, was my breakup with my ex, the second time was SPINNOVEX and the third time is this current problem... I asked him why he rarely keep in touch with me and this was his reply: "I am not the kind of person that will always be around to have fun with you, coz I like to be alone... I'm a loner... But if you ever do need my help, I will always be there to help you, no matter what... That is how I treat my friends..." I am touched by him again (aren't you??)... How come he can always say words that are so touching?? ;o)

In my last post, I said there are some stuff that I am currently settling... The stuff is actually the problem I just mentioned... It is still not settled yet but I hope it will be settled soon... As soon as it's settled, I fill you people in on the problem...

SPINNOVEX... Accidents... Long Chiu... Him...

Hi people... Long time never update my blog... This is because I am super busy with my SPINNOVEX stuff and Chinese New Year stuff... So now I better update before the Chinese New Year arrives... ;o)

Haiz... A lot of things cropped up for our project before SPINNOVEX and we were so busy solving it since the Saturday before SPINNOVEX... First there was computer speed problem... Then problem with not able to get a fast speed computer at the last minute... Then there were network problems... Then the camera server stopped functioning... Then finally there was synchronizing problem of the application and the school's server... This leads to a lot of changes in my programming codes and the problem was only discovered 1 hour before the official opening of SPINNOVEX... I was so stressed in thinking up the new codes needed in such a short time that I nearly had a nervous breakdown... The application was only functioning a few hours after the official opening... Phew... For the 3 days of SPINNOVEX, it was quite fun... Even though the application still give me some tiny problems here and there, they were solved readily... ;o)

Although I was quite stressed during SPINNOVEX (I was constantly worrying that the application will die out on me...), I was quite happy coz quite a few of my friends, and also my little brother and his friends, came to see my project... Long Chiu was there on Thursday and I was so touched... I so rarely see him around and he was more or less to busy to entertain me... Haha... (For people who don't know and is curious to know who is Long Chiu, I will touch on that later...) Jasmine was also there on Thursday and I took a photo with her... She recently got her ears pierced and I finally got to take a look at her ears... Heehee... ;o)

Peiyi was there on Friday to give me support and also to take a good look at Him... Hahaha... She asked a lot of funny questions to the other exhibitors and they really had no idea how to answer her question... She also played around with my project as well as His project... Luckily she didn't crash my project... But unfortunately His project did not survive her rampage... Peiyi crashed both the palm tops of His group and also the emulator version of his application before leaving for home... Hope He won't be angry... We both did not know that would happen... Sorry... ;oP

Jasmine and Pay wen drop by for a short while on Friday to say Hi and give support before leaving school... Although the time was short but I really appreciated it... Thanks... ;o)

Saturday was the last day of SPINNOVEX but also the busiest day for me... First, Sijin visited me and I took her around SPINNOVEX to see some of the projects... Then my little brother brought a few of his friend to see my project and give me support even though they are clearly not interested in my project at all... Haiz... But still I'm glad he came... Then lastly Jiayun arrived and we had lunch and walked around school together while we chat... ;o)

Finally it was time for the closing ceremony of SPINNOVEX... Siyun was on screen with his boyfriend Chee Yong... Heehee... They secretly filmed her adjusting his tie for him and showed it during the ceremony as part of a video clip... Now everyone knows they are together... Even the VIP... Hahaha... The buffet dinner after the closing ceremony was not so nice... But I was too hungry to choose... So I just eat... Hahaha... ;oP

Chee Yong found out that whenever I meet him, something bad will happen to me... And this is quite true... When Chee Yong and Siyun and Chee Yong's friend and I were going home after SPINNOVEX on Friday, I was shut out of the train at Jurong East interchange while he got in the train already... Then on Saturday when I asked him to pass Siyun something, my hand phone dropped on the floor and my hand phone accessory cracked... So sad... That is why he came up with this conclusion... :o(

For people who want to know about Long Chiu, here's the story... Skip it if you are not interested... We first know each other in Jurong Institute for JC first 3 months... He was wooing my classmate Guo Xiu and I was always teasing her... So he did not have a good impression of me then... Later when I when to Pioneer Junior College, I met him again... This time, Guo Xiu was already his girlfriend, he became my classmate and my ex-boyfriend was Guo Xiu's classmate... We slowly became friends and so did my ex and Guo Xiu... I found out more coincidences between me and Long Chiu... He is staying in the same area as I am and his birthday is on 6th of April (6/4/1984) while my birthday is 4th of June (4/6/1984)... Then my Secondary School classmate and friend Yuying was his Primary School classmate and competitor in Chinese grades... So many coincidences right?? ;oP

I was really impressed by the way he treated Guo Xiu... He was literally showering her with love... He went to her house to send her to school in the morning and sent her from school to her house after school... Everyday, he would fold a heart shape and give it to her... He helped her carry her bag... Worry that she is too thin and ask her to eat more... Starve himself so that he has money to go out with her... Makes it a point to ask her out every weekend... Get to know all her friends... Lunch with her and her friends at school and sit with them during mass lectures (This makes him unable to socialize the guys in our class and the guys in our class hated him, add on the fact that a lot of girls in class think he is good-looking)... Basically, back then, his world revolved around Guo Xiu... ;o)

Then around the middle of that year, Guo Xiu and him broke up... I never did got to know the reason of their break up, but I do know it was Guo Xiu who initiated it... I can tell he was devastated then... He eyes would well up with tears when he talked about her... He would get really emotional and violent suddenly and kick tables and chairs... He would miss lessons... Then one day, he came to school with his arms around his tummy area and he was in so much pain that he couldn't eat... It was later then I found out from him that he got a cracked rib from fighting with someone because he was feeling sad and that person irritated him... I tried to console him but in all, he is heart-brokened... :o(

Around August the same year, I broke up with my ex... And then it was my turn to be heart-brokened... Ha... Another coincidence... I more or less acted like him... Except I didn't crack a rib or got into any fight... And he was there to console me... He kept me company when I was alone and he made me accepted the fact that my ex was no longer in my life... And he also said something to me that really touched me deeply... He said, "If you ever want me to beat up Chen Guo, just tell me and I will go beat him up for you, even if he is my friend..." (Touching right?? Leave a comment on what you think...)

In the end my results for that year was really poor and I was to be retained for a year... I chose to leave PJC and go Poly... And this is his decision too, even though I had no idea wat is his results... He was just bent on leaving... After that we rarely met each other... Occasionally, I do see him on the train station platform while going to school or when coming home from school... ;o)

Currently, Long Chiu is studying at Ngee Ann Polytechnic... He is in his final year in Business Studies doing Tourism option... He got big round eyes, is 1.8m tall and I think weighs 60 something kilos... He just broke up with his current girlfriend and is 'moaning' over it... He was nicknamed Hanaxawa Rui/Hua Ze Lei of F4 in Hana Yori Dango/Meteor Garden back then by a girl in class... He wears contact lenses and used to have a distinctive smell due to the colonge he wears (I used to sit beside him in lectures)... By now you might have noticed that I memorised a bit too much about him... And you guessed it right... I had a crush on him back then, for a little more than a year... Everytime I saw him, my heart will beat really fast... But that was a long time ago... Now my heart rate remains the same when I do see him... Haha... Sometimes I think maybe my ex and I broke up due to the crush I had on him... Or is it after my breakup then I started to develop a crush on him?? I can't really tell... What do you think?? As usual, now it is time to talk about Him again... As most of you all know, He was also involved in SPINNOVEX as one of the exhibitors... Actually, he was very near to where I was at SPINNOVEX... I can't tell where His exact location is cause that would give away his identity... I get to see Him for the whole 3 days... Heehee... But actually, he was so near yet so far... I do get to see Him, but I didn't get to talk much to Him... In fact, He talked more to the other members in my group than to me... So sad... Haiz... I actually got ask Him why is it that he acts like he don't want to talk to me and, I'm not sure if I was imagining things, I thought I hear Him shout, "because I have nothing to talk to you!"... That really frightened me... I tried to give Him the Valentine's Day present I got for Him but he just told me to give him later... Ok... Can someone define the meaning of 'later'?? I hope I can give it to Him soon... Luckily, he sort of cheered up on Saturday and was not so cold to me... Phew... ;o)

I find that I am constantly looking at Him and worrying about his moods... And whenever I see Him or talk to Him, my heart will beat so fast that it feels like it is going to jump out of my throat... And if is he cold to me, or if he is sad, I will also be feeling down the whole day... And if he do talk to me, even if it is for a short while, I can be happy for the whole day... Haiz... I declare He is now controlling all my emotions... Haha... My world revolves around Him... I recently got to know from Him that he has applied for 5 universities... This make me have the urge of applying too... Coz I want to be in the same university as Him, do the same course as Him, so that I can get to see Him during mass lectures... Heehee... But I guess that is going to be very difficult... Coz my results falls miles behind His... Haiz... Valentine's Day is coming soon... I hope I can get to go out with Him soon and also pass him the present soon... The present is customized for Him and I hope he will like it... ;o)

Haiz... I am sick... Down with cough and flu... That's why I didn't blog this weekend even though it was a public holiday last Friday... I was too sick to blog... I went to KTV on Saturday with Kaixin, Peiyi, June, Yuying and Jiayun to celebrate Kaixin's birthday and also have a full gathering... We really haven't done that in a long time... The singing session was quite fun, although I was not in my top condition that day... Actually I sang a little out of tune at times... Haha... Before singing, we had lunch together and after singing, we had dinner together... After dinner, June and I did a little shopping and we both bought a pair of jeans... It was so cheap... $10 only... ;oP

The KTV lounge we went to was Kbox Jurong Entertainment Centre branch... The service there is only passable... I think the service at Kbox Choa Chu Kang branch is much better... So if anyone wants to go Kbox for KTV, you know which branch to choose... Haha... ;oP

This is the 6th week I have not seen Him... I miss Him so much... I really hope I can see Him soon... Hopefully I can get to see Him at SPINNOVEX... (Which day(s) will you be going to SPINNOVEX?? Haiz... I seriously have no life for now... My life is juz work and sleep... Ok... Maybe I have a little time to go dye my hair... And attend birthday celebrations... But I seriously have no life for my computer and internet surfing and TV... Haiz... :o(

I miss Him so so much... It's been nearly a month since I last saw Him... I miss Him so much till I'm starting to dream of him already... Heehee... He is so busy nowadays... Haiz... When can I see Him again?? I really hope I can get to see Him at Spinnovex... Heehee... ;o)

For those people who do not like to read about me ranting on and on about Him... Juz skip these parts... Don't comment on how I silly I am... Coz you are not me... So basically you don't know how I feel... Especially those people who have not fell in love before... Please don't act like "I will not act like this, love will not make a fool out of me"... You might have to eat your words when love comes knocking on your door... And for some of people who are now thinking, "love myself is the most important thing, she is juz plain silly"... I want to ask them a question, "why is everything about you?? Is that all you think about??" Besides, what I am doing now does not harm anyone and anything... (And this is MY blog... I ENJOY what I am doing...) So why complain??

I went to dye my hair yesterday... That is why I can only update my blog today... I dyed my hair copper... Not too bright though... Only brighter then the colour I dyed last year... But I didn't get highlights... For those people who have seen me before, you'll know what I mean... I got a treatment too... But my hair is still so dry... Haiz... Think I'll have to go for another treatment session in March... If I have time, I'll upload pictures of my hair onto the blog soon... Heehee... ;o)

Last year I saw some movie teasers while I went for movies, and I have some movies that I am interested to watch in the near future... Here's a list (Should be according to the release time, correct me if I am wrong)...

I came across a discussion board talking about the scariest movies people think... And I think I could make a list of what I think are the scariest movies here, juz for fun, since I like going to movies... Haha... Here's the list...
1) The Shining
(Super scary man... Was only 4 or 5 when first watch this show... Watched it on TV with my mom... Although I don't have a clue on what the characters were talking at that time, the movie sure scared the hell out of me... Got lots of nightmares because of it... The 2 little girls sure are creepy... And the blood that gushed out of the lift...)
2) 13 Ghost
(the first NC-16 show I watched... Was not affected by the gore at all but really gave me a scare...)
3) The Ring series (Jap version)
(Was scary at at begining of the series but started to get lame... Why are there so many sequels and prequels?? But Sadako is scary... I won't want her to crawl out of my TV...)
4) Ju-on series (Korean version of The Grudge)
(Scary sia... But the storyline was not very good... Especially Ju-on Final... Was made just to scare people and totally make no sense at all... Ju-on and Ju-on Prequel are better...)
5) 28 Days Later...
(Got lost looking for the cinema when we went to watch it... Haha... A zombie movie with depth... A bit scary... Nice acting... Someone beside me jumped while watching it at the cinema... You know who you are... Heehee...)
5) Jeepers Creepers series
(It was a bit scary... The first one was better... There was actually a theme or something like that... The camera focuses quite a lot on the male lead's eyes and it was only at the end of the show that we came to know why...)
6) Saw
(A bit far-fetched but I don't think anyone wants to be placed in the situations in the movie... Plays with audience's fears...)
7) Pet Sematary
(I forgot when I watched it but I know it was before I could understand English and read Chinese subtitles... Think in the lower primary years... My mom translated what the characters are talking to me... Scary especially for a kid...)
8) Hellraiser series
(I just like scaring myself and I enjoy gore... Need anymore justifications??)
I think that is about all... If I do come across any other scary movies, I'll update onto my blog... Heehee...

Haiz... He gave me the reply of watching the movie... He is not free to watch The Phantom of the Opera with me... So sad... Haiz... He's always so busy... When can I see Him again?? I really miss Him... I miss Him so much that I am starting to dream of him... Haiz...

I went to rebond my hair on the last day of last year... and I was late... Hahaha... Because of me being late, my rebonding session ended at 1 am of the first day of this year... Hahaha... I actually spent my new year at the hair salon... The rebonding and treatment cost $155... It might be expensive, but I like the end result... Heehee... I'm planning to dye my hair the coming Saturday... Heehee... ;o)

Since He is not free to watch The Phantom of the Opera with me, I decided to watch it with my Mom... Hahaha... (So I am saying a big 'Sorry' to Him for not waiting... I wanted to see the show too much...) And I just watched it today... I is a really great show... I liked it very much... Going to buy the VCD or DVD when it is out... Unless someone gives it to me as Valentine's Day gift... Hahaha... I am hinting too much liao... ;o)

I really pity the Phantom in the movie... Fate never did treated him kind and he had to spend his life in loneliness... He loved Christine with all his heart and he ended up with nothing in return... I think it is one of the sadest thing in life when you love someone with all your heart and soul and that person do not return the love... It makes life so sad... Haiz... :o(

ARGH... I have not seen Him in more than 2 weeks... I miss Him so terribly... When can I get to see Him again?? I've just asked him to watch Phantom of the Opera with me next weekend... I really hope he can make it... So that I can see him again... I am still anticipating his answer... Heehee... ;o)

Today is Christmas and although I am not a christian, I want to wish all my friends a Merry Christmas!~!

I have been working at PSA for 2 weeks already as attachment... I have no Internet access!~! Haiz... I'm so ill-fated... Besides Aye and Bryan, attached together with me at HabourFront PSA are Joe, Xue ling, Jonathan, Robin and Ashadi... They are fun to be with and we have all have lunch together despite being in the different department... Heehee... I am now involved in system testing in attachment and I can really say system testing is really a tedious work to do... And I am so stressed... My working hours are quite long too... I work from 8.30am to 6.30pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 5.30pm on Friday... :o(

I just read kaixin's new blog on comopolitian stuff and she was talking about marriage and cosmetic surgery recently... This led me to think about wat she wrote... For marriage I think money might be important, but having someone to spend days with when I'm old is also as important... My mom once said in chinese, when you're young, you're might just a couple, but when in old age, you are companion for each other... Some pepple here might urgue that you can get companionship in friends and pets, but in truth, when i'm are old and bed-ridden, a pet can take care of me... My partner is the one that is most likely to do it... And a friend cannot keep u 24 hours a day and 356.25 days a year, but ur partner when retired, will keep u company most of the time... It's true it takes a lot of hard work and commitment, but can a person be truely be considered a human being if this person never did work hard for anything or be committed to anything in life?? I don't think so... People might succeed or fail in the process of trying to maintain a marriage till old age and death, but i guess for the rewards of it, it is definitely worth it...

For cosmetic surgery, i think if a person really needs it, it should be done... But if it is for pursuit of for example, looking like snow white or prince charming, i think it is totally pointless... Beauty is only skin deep and no one is going to be beautiful or handsome forever... Some people urgue it is for self-esteem... Then please tell me wat are these people going to do when they are all old and wrinkled... Surgery cannot totally stop that... And if a person dun really care about wat people think, nothing can really affect this person's self-esteem... Some women and men do it for the sake of the person they like... But if the one they like only liked then after surgery, i think he or she only likes the end result of the surgery and nothing more... And it is more or less a fake kind of liking...

Wow... Tomorrow is the start of ITP for me... This is all happening so fast... I'm starting to feel really stressed now... Haha... Silly me right?? Feeling stressed even before I start working... But it's the truth... I am really feeling so nervous and stressed... Haiz... Hope everything will go smoothly for me for my attachment... ;o)

As I mentioned earlier, I am attached to PSA... And in my class, there are 2 people also attached to PSA... And they are Aye and Bryan(I hope his name is spelt this way)... Hope they will be in the same office as I am... It makes me feel less stressful... Haha... ;o)

I discovered something about Him while I have been chatting to Him on MSN... He likes to use the words "hmm", "see how lor" and "dun noe" when answering some of my questions... Haha... If u think of some questions and try these words as answers, they actually lead to the questions not being answered at all... Haha... But I am more or less used to him answering that way... Although sometimes I do feel a bit disappointed... But no matter what, I will persist in liking him till I get to something... Coz my feelings for him are getting stronger with each passing day... And I hope one day, I'll get to that point where he gives me a reply... ;o)

Sorry for not updating for so long again... Partly because I was really busy, and partly also because my bro won't let me use the computer... He keeps on using it to play WarCraft 2... But I finally got him to let me use the computer... This is because I am going to start my ITP(attachment) soon...

I was busy because I went for 2 KTV sessions with my 2 groups of friends... The first session was on last Wednesday with my group of secondary school pals... We had been friends since Secondary 1, and this means wehave been friends for nearly 8 years... Wow... That is long... And I hope we will be friends until the day we pass away... Heehee... Well not all of them turned up for the KTV session... Only Peiyi, Jiayun, Kaixin and I turned up... June was absent because she still got exams going on in University... Yuying needed to settle stuff on the holiday work... But overall it was still fun and we sang 5 hours of KTV... Heehee... ;o)

The second KTV session was with my group of Poly year 1 classmates... Only Jasmine, Wen Jing, Pei Lee, Lijun and I turned up... Ruiling was sick... It was fun but expensive... Haha... After singing 6 hrs of KTV we went for dinner before going home... ;o)

I was also busy watching movie... I went to watch the preview of National Treasure last Thursday together with my Mom and the movie is really nice... It was both exciting and funny... Nicholas Cage looks good... Hahaha... ;oP

I did some shopping over the week and it is one of the reasons why I had been busy... I bought a DVD-writer... It cost $139... I'm regretting a bit on buying it... Haha... But at least now I have more space on my computer... Coz I can burn all the data that I don't need so much on DVD-R... I also bought a pair of Giordano jeans at $29... Quite cheap actually... ;o)

I also went shopping with June yesterday... But only June bought a pair of earrings... Hahaha... Even though so, we did eat quite a lot of snacks.... And it certainly was good to see June again after we both have been busy for so long... ;o)

I got to know my ITP posting this Monday... I was posted to PSA(Port of Singapore Authority) Corporation Ltd... Hope it will be fun... Alfred is posted to LiteSpeed Education Pte Ltd... Kalai is posted to Elixir Technology Pte Ltd... Wen Jing is posted to Qala Singapore Ptd Ltd... Pei Lee is posted to Tanker Pacific Management(s) Pte Ltd... And last but definitely not the least, there is Him... He is posted to a Pte Ltd that is actually a really well-known company internationally... ;o)

Haiz... The starting of ITP means I will not be able to see Him at all for at least 4 months... Haiz... I really hope that he will be willing to meet me for dinner for maybe... once in a month?? If not I will really miss him very much... Maybe even so much that I can't concentrate on anything... Heehee... I was chatting with him on MSN last nite and I discovered something that made me quite happy... I hope wat I think is true... Heehee... ;o)

I was talking to Alfred a few days ago and he told me that guys will mostly like girls that are not so strong... He says guys will mostly like girls that will need guys' help more often as this makes them able to feel that they are able to protect and help the gals they like... I am not sure if this really applies to most guys, but I think a girl should really try every problem out before asking for help... I mean if wat Alfred said are true, a guy might be happy to help the girl out for a few times... But in the long term, won't the guy get sick of helping her all the time?? That is only what I think... And I really feel that if a girl ask a guy for help only when she really needs it, won't it seems more reasonable and more meaningful?? This is only my thoughts... I got my grades back yesterday... I'm still satisfied with it... Got my first Distinction of my Poly life, after the major disappointment I received last semester... For information, Distinction in SP is defined my top 5% of the pple taking that module at the time... So a person can get A for the grade of a certain module but not fall inside Distinction level...

Here I am talking about Him again... He got his grades back too and his grades are really good as usual... But a bit disappointing coz I would never have thought he would have lost in this way... I'm not sure if he really dun mind about it, but I am feeling the pity for him... :o(

Something happened recently that I find really unfair... I know life can be unfair at times... But I never knew it could be that unfair... This is the most unfair thing that I had come across in my life so far... I mean not that I wanted that thing myself... I know it is not for me... But it is still unfair on the distribution part... Even so, everything is set and nothing can be changed now... I have been dealt a strong blow on the lesson of life that I am barely standing... Guess maybe I'm not totally ready for the darkness of the world around me... But this blow sure made me a stronger person... Even so, I still hope I will not come across something like this again...

Sorry for not updating my blog for so long... I was busy with stuff... Anyway... I'm finally here to update my blog again... Heehee... ;o)

I went to collect my contact lenses last Thursday... Lucky I didn't have much difficulty in wearing them... So I didn't really stayed in the shop as long as I thought I would... Heehee... ;o)

It was Cow aka Kenneth's birthday last Saturday, that is the 20th... I haven't really said happy birthday to him yet... So now... "Happy Birthday Cow!~!" Hahaha... ;oP Some of our poly year 2 classmates actually went to celebrate his bdae last Friday... He treated us to dinner and it costs quite a bomb... So nice of you Cow!~! Thanks... Paiseh for the really cannot-make-it present... Was too busy making the present for Him... Don't mention wat I gave u here... Too embarrassed...

I wanted to watch quite a lot of movies but there's no one to go with me... Haiz... Who wants to go with me?? The movies I want to watch are Saw, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, The Polar Express... So if anyone wants to watch with me, please leave a comment or sms me or call me... I would be very happy... Haha... ;o)

I went to watch The Incredibles with Him yesterday... After my umpteen times of asking, he finally agreed to go out with me... Was 15 minutes late in meeting him... Coz I took a long time to get ready... Need to wear my contact lenses... Haha... I had booked the tickets beforehand so we met at Sommerset MRT station then went for a short walk to Libary @ Orchard for a while... Then we walked to Cineleisure, looking at the Christmas lightings on the way... I don't take much notice of Christmas lightings before... But he brought the topic up and for maybe the first time in my life, I took real notice... It was beautiful... :o)

In many ways, he makes me take notice of a lot of different things around me... He said the lightings this year was not as impressive as the lightings from the previous years... When I reached home. I compared the photos I've taken at Orchard Road last year with my good friends and true to his words... It was not as impressive... Maybe not all the lightings and decorations are not up yet?? I'm not sure... :o)

We ate dinner at Cineleisure's foodcourt... We had talked about eating exotic food before so I went to buy Vietnamese food... He on the other hand, bought some handmade noodles in soya bean paste gravy... Unfortunately, he didn't like the noodles... I tasted it too but I think the taste was not that bad... Think it was not his 'bowl of noodle'... Haha... As usual, he was quite funny in his remarks... Heehee... ;o)

The movie itself was funny and it kept me to my seat for 2 hours... I would definitely recommend this movie... He enjoyed the movie too... So happy.. Becoz I was the one who suggested to go watch The Incredibles... ;o)

After the movie, we took a stroll to Plaza Singapura, enjoying the Christmas lightings... There's even Christmas lightings hanging from the trees outside Istana... It will actually be quite romantic if there wasn't so many people walking on the walkway... Too bad there are too many people... Haiz...

We took MRT home after we reached Plaza Singapura... Coz it was 10pm and nothing left to window shop... Haha... I called him after he got off the train... To ask him wat are we now... He told me to remain status quo... And the conversation ended without much results... Haiz... I'm like swimming in the endless ocean without knowing when I will reach land, or will I ever reach land... I feel like I'm drowning down here... But no matter what, I'll perservere... Till the very end... ;o)

When I reached home, I SMS him to ask him about the birthday present I gave him... I was so glad that he liked it... For information, I made him a bottle of paper stars... I really took a long time to make those stars... I was making them until the last minute... Was still dropping stars into the bottle when I was on my way to meet him... Haha... There are 600 over stars in it... But it was really a pity that I can't fill up the whole bottle... Juz maybe another 30 stars and the bottle will be full... But still I was happy... Coz he liked the present... ;o)

First of all... It's his birthday today!~! So... Happy Birthday!~! May all your wishes come true and may you succeed in everything you do!~! ;o)

Went shopping at Lot 1's Seiyu and found that a Hush Puppies skirt I liked was on sale and now sold at around $28... It originally cost around $43... So I bought it... Yeah... And I also bought another Hush Puppies blouse that was on sale to go with the skirt... Heehee... I also went shopping at the John Little's warehouse sale but I didn't really buy much stuff for myself... But I did buy 2 polo shirts for my Dad... ;o)

I found that Japanese is so difficult to type... I took ages juz to type the correct date... It was like learning typing all over again... And to make things difficult, there are so many Japanese words that I don't know how to spell... ;oP

My contact lenses have not arrive yet... They are really taking a long time to arrive... Can't wait to wear them... You pple might think I'm too anxious... But you've gotta understand how I feel... I've been wearing spectacles for the past 16 years since I was 4 years old... I really hope to have the feeling of clear vision without spectacles once more... ;o)

As some of my friends know, I've been bothered by skin rashes since primary school... My skin feels so rough... Haiz... I thought I can never get rid of them, but guess what, I went to see a doctor on the 3rd and she said it can be treated!~! She say it will go away after applying some lotion... The bad point is, it will return... Nevertheless, I'm glad at least my skin will get better... I applied the lotion and yeah!~! My skin is really smoother after a few applications... I haven't felt so smooth in ages!~! I'm so happy!~! Hahaha... ;oD

Went to the optician yesterday... Coz my bro's frameless specs' lenses cracked and he went to get a new pair... This pair is only half a yr old... Wat a rough brother... Haha... This time he is getting a pair with half frame... But this frame looks really nice on my brother... He looks better than Bae Yong Joo in specs... Haha... I am not bragging... Although he's my brother, and I may not look good, my bro is definitely good-looking... Ok... Enough of my bro... I also got a pair contact lenses... I can only get a pair of permanent ones coz my astigmaism too high... 350+... Haiz... Better than nothing... So happy... Finally can wear contacts liao... Heehee... Hope to wear it to let Him see... ;o)

We really cannot finish our MGEP project and now we've gotten an extension till Monday morning... Hope we can finish it by then... :o(
Stressed sia... I hope I can apply RMS (Record Management System) to the project successfully... Coz I've never done it before... (If you dun understand, nevermind... It's a programming thing...) :o(
Mark is really anxious about the project and is rushing us to do our part... He also volunteered to do the main bulk of the project... I'm really thankful for that... Thanks Mark!~! His graphics design is really great!~! All the graphics done by him are so cute!~! ;o)

Met Him by chance at the MRT station yesterday... He was walking so fast I almost can't catch up with him... Heehee... He was quite shocked by me... Nevermind that, not telling you all why... ;oP
He said 'hi' to me and touched my arm... Don't think too much hor (especially Alfred... You always like to think on the wrong side)... It was just a gesture to show he was being friendly... It may only be a gesture of friendliness but it was such a gentle touch... I'll always remember this touch... ;o)

Woo hoo... Today is our FYP final presentation and everything more or less went smoothly... So happy.... I feel so free after the presentation... Haha... ;oD

Found out that He is trying to apply for admission to some famous overseas universities... His grades are really good so it shouldn't be a problem... Feeling sad down here because if he does go overseas, I won't get to see him for at least 3 years... Hope he will remember to email me... I won't mind calling him overseas if he wants to talk to me... Although I feel so sad, I think it would be great for him if he does get what he wants... Because he will be happy this way and I want him to be happy... This is so contradicting... I'm sad about not being able to see him, but I hope he can get what he wants... Haiz... But whatever happens, I wish the best for Him... :o(

Found a few nice models of handphones to consider... Hope they will be available in Singapore... They are Sony Ericsson Z1010, Panasonic X700 and Nokia 6260... They are all confirm going to be expensive but I like their functions and designs... Pple... Please help me rank them leh... Don't consider their prices... Thanks... ;o)

Went to shop at Orchard for clothings for my group's FYP presentation on Monday... Walked around there for a long time... Finally I bought a white long-sleeves shirt at $29, a black knee length skirt at $46... And a pair of black shoes at $26.90... Wow... I spent S$101.90 in total... Actually I dun really like black shoes... Coz my feet looks really dull whenever I wear black shoes... But I got no choice because the skirt I wear is black and they fit better together... I acutually like white shoes better coz my feet sorts of lights up whenever i wear them... Maybe I should buy a pair of white shoes fit for office work next time when I have the money.. Now I'm totally broke... :o(

I found out that my handphone contract expires on this coming Christmas... Yeah... I can go buy another phone soon... I can forget about trading-in my 6510 because by that time, it might not even have a trade-in value anymore... Haha... Hmmm... I still dun really know which phone should I go for... I only noe that I would go for clamshell phones 'cuz I haven't got one before... But which brand or model?? I have no idea... I was actually aiming for Motorola V600 previously, but there are some reviews in CNET that point out that there are some major flaws in the phone... Now I having second thoughts... Then I went to find out about Motorola RAZR V3... Oh my... the phone cost $1300 without any line contract... That is really so expensive... The phone looks great but the cost really left me agape... Let see how much it will cost on Christmas day... The I also saw this new Panasonic X700... Looks great too... But it's not out in Singapore yet... I dun even noe if it is going to be out in Singapore at all... Hmmm... We'll see how it goes on Christmas day... So pple... Got any suggestions on which phones are nice?? I only want to buy clamshell phones and I hope to get a new phone before next year... So keep the comments coming in... ;o)

Rented Love Actually VCD to watch today... Wow... So romantic... Especially the parts where Mark tells Juliet that he loves her with the signs he wrote, and when Jamie proposed to Aurelia at the restuarant in Portugese... I'm so touched... :'o)

Talked to Him again today... It's so nice to talk to Him... I even got a chance to travel with Him... So happy... Even though today got a gal actually put her arm around his shoulder... Argh!! I'm so jealous... But I wat can I do?? Nothing... Coz I'm still only his friend and coz I like Him... :o)

Finally we can compile our FYP onto one PC... Hope it can work smoothly... I do FYP until I'm almost crazy liao lor... Hahaha... ;o)

Haiz... Why am I blogging at this hour?? Becoz I juz finish typing WEBS (Web Services Development) assignment... Haiz... I really dunno what to type... Sian... :o(

Today rented and watched Fight Club... It's a film starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton... It's not a new show (it was released in US in 1999) but was like a re-release version, coz the last version available on VCD was seriously cut down to a PG rating... This version was the full M18 one... Finally found the full version... I guess it's M18 mostly becoz of the violence featured it it...
This was a real nice show... I rank it only second to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind... Making it second on my list of favorite movies... My mom says that Fight Club is quite a confusing movie... Haha.. I think I really like movies that confuses pple... Coz when I went to watch Eternal Sunshine with Jasmine, she said it was confusing too... But I dun find the 2 movies confusing at all... I like them a lot... Tells a lot about things that I agree upon...;o)
Hmmm... Maybe someday when I'm free, I'm going to make a list of my favorite movies so far... ;oP

Went to watch Resident Evil 2 with Jasmine yesterday at Suntec... The show was still ok lor... Won't consider it to be great, but there are still some scary moments and some of the fighting scenes are not bad too... The bad point of the show was that it assumed too much that u know the story... So there were a lot of parts of the show that went unexplained... And this made me quite confused... :-S

Ate lunch with Him and a fren today... Woo... I rarely get a chance to eat lunch with him... Actually, my fren and I ate lunch... He didn't... He juz sat with us for a while for a drink and then went off... I find that he eats quite little... At least it is little as compared to my brother... Maybe it's my own misunderstanding ba... Should observe him more to see if my deduction is true... Heehee... ;o)

Today I brought my Mom to a moblie phone shop to buy a mobile phone... She's really difficult to find without a mobile phone... We chose the cheapest phone in the whole shop and that is Nokia 3120... Quite useful for my Mom... She don't really know how to use a mobile phone... Juz using it to make phone calls... The phone and a $18 M-Card coz S$258 in total... Is it worth the money?? *-)

I rented "The Twins Effect 2" VCD to watch at home... It is a very lame show... But is was really funny... Laugh until I crazy... Hahahahahaha... If u are in for some senseless laughing, go rent this show... But the show also has a few romantic moments... ;o)

I asked Michael what will us be doing if we got our ITP (Industrial Training Programming) at Honeywell... He says, "if you join honeywell, you should be involving on Wireless LAN and also VB.Net on web services"... Wow... I'm speechless... But should I go?? I take 1hr 45mins just to travel from my house to Honeywell... So it will be a 3 1/2 hr trip to and fro... Must consider carefully... Do you all think I should go?? Sent my bro's K700i for servicing at Wisma, so might as well do some shopping with my Mom... I got an OG membership card as a result of this shopping spree... Heehee...;o)

But haiz... Disappointed sia... I saw a pair of sandals I really like at Wisma's Charles and Keith but left only the display set... It was dirty already so there's no point buying it... Sad... Didn't do much stuff today... Slept till very late... Stayed at home all day... Downloaded some stuff on the web and watch a movie on VCD... My mom cooked dinner and it was really nice... Heehee... ;o)

All the projects I'm doing are so stressful... Haiz... I'm way too easily stressed... :o(

I showed ask Him to visit my blog and he totally didn't remember what he said before and even asked me who commented me this way... Haiz... Then when I asked him for comments about my blog, he gave the usual 'no comments' phrase then went offline... SIAN~~~ Although I more or less used to this liao... But overall, I'm still glad I got to talk to him through MSN... I treasure everything about him... And every moment spent with him or chatting to him... Even though sometimes it may be short... ;o)

Met up my secondary school friends Peiyi, Jiayun and Yuying at Orchard... As usual, I was late... Haha... We were supposed to meet at 3pm, but I only reached at 4.30pm... Luckily I got tell them I'm going to be late... We did some window shopping and helped Peiyi decided on a birthday present for her another friend... Peiyi really took a long time in Guess looking for something she could spent her $60 voucher on... But unfortunately, she can't find anything to her liking... A little waste of our time sia... ;0P

Then we went for a Karaoke session at Party World... Peiyi was loud and funny... Haha... Then she sang until halfway she too tired liao... Coz she used too much strength to be loud... Hahaha... Overall it was a still fun... Except it was a bit too expensive... Next time we do go on a karaoke session, I think we better go on weekdays... It's cheaper this way... ;o)

I reached home at 11pm... That's quite late for our gathering... And boy was I tired from all the singing... Haha... Then I received a sms from Peiyi that she got full marks for her programming lab exercise... Congrats to her!! ;o)

I tried to do FTP using IE to upload a photo of myself but sad to say, it was unsuccessful... And I dunno why... So in the end I got no choice but use windows command prompt... It was difficult... But I managed to get it done... I really should ask around to see how it can be done using IE... So now I finally got my photo up on my blog... Heehee... ;o)

Kenneth showed me his 'webcam' through MSN... Funny(I was almost laughing my head of actually)... But it was nice... It's actually not a webcam but his palmtop camera and a software that made his palmtop camera acts as a webcam... Makes me feel like getting a webcam liao... Haha... But I got no money... Kenneth a real funny guy... He's a really nice guy also... Always helpful and always there... I added a link to his blog on my blog... Take a look... ;o)

Hi pple!! I'm really new to this blog thing... Hope it's nice... Juz discussed my mobile game programming (MGEP) project with my group members Lip Hong and Mark... Haiz... So many things to do... Hope I can make it... Toking about Mark, We had a project presentation last Wednesday, and that was the first time I stood beside him... I can tell u, he is TALL... Haha... I really feel like I was a stumpy button mushroom while standing beside him... Picture that... ;oP

Later today, I talked to Him... I'm not stating his name... For fear that he might get angry... He really knows how to spoil my day... He actually commented that I'm ugly, short and fat... Hope he doesn't mean it... Well... I admit I'm not pretty, and I'm not tall, and I am plump... But shouldn't be as bad as he says mah... I know lah... He's good in sports and he's has a good body (that is what I think)... Actually, he EXCELS in EVERYTHING he does... Haha... But don't literally put me on the floor and step on me mah...
